Great Start. Lots Learned.

Our first ever British GT started off very wet on Friday test day which carried on into Saturday mornings official free practice. However in the afternoon when we were due to qualify for the race, the track was dry so time for slicks. Due to not having any running at all on the slicks prior to this and only a 10 minute window to qualify this was a challenging 10 minutes! Qualified 23rd on the grid.

Raceday started off sunny and we were very excited to head into our first endurance race. 3 hours of racing at Silverstone with 42 cars on the grid! the race was very eventful but we stuck to our plan even though we had a few taps from the charging GT3 cars. Regulations stated that we do three driver changes putting lots of pressure on team and drivers to achieve the ultimate pitstop. We still have a bit to learn in this department… Took the chequered flag knowing we were P1 in GT4 AM and 20th overall. Very happy (but not satisfied) with our performance and we have learned a lot that we will take onboard before the next race at Donington in two weeks time.
